Balance Rehab
Fall Risk Reduction
Have you had a fall or experience difficulties with balance? Balance problems and falls affect at least 25% of older adults. Falls cause injuries and decreased activity levels that in-turn increase the risk of subsequent falls. Evidence-based interventions can improve balance and reduce risk of falls.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
The vestibular system includes the parts of the inner ear and brain that help control balance and eye movements. If the system is damaged by disease, aging, or injury, vestibular disorders can result, and are often associated with one or more of these symptoms, among others: Vertigo and dizziness. Our top-notch Vestibular Rehabilitation program is an individualized approach that addresses the root cause of vestibular deficits.
Osteoporosis Management
According to the NIH, Osteoporosis or Osteopenia occurs in about 44 million Americans, resulting in 1.5 million fragility fractures per year. The consequences of these fractures include pain, disability, depression, loss of independence, and increased mortality.Understanding your Osteoporosis diagnosis and how to move forward safely with daily activities and exercises are incorporated into our education and exercise prescription program.
Post-Concussion Management
Statistics show that physical therapy can help recovery times when experiencing post-concussion symptoms. Our treatments take into account the fact that each patient's symptoms and recovery times are unique. Rest assured that our thorough assessments, diagnosis and treatment of concussions follow a specific process and will always be handled on an individual basis.
